Birsa Munda Krishi Kranti Yojana

Information about the scheme:

To increase the standard of living of Scheduled Tribe farmers in the district by increasing their production and making them self-reliant.

Beneficiaries:

Beneficiary eligibility for availing the benefits of the scheme for tribal purposes (within the area/outside the area) is as follows.

  1. The beneficiary should be a Scheduled Deposit Farmer.
  2. Farmers must have caste certificate issued by the competent authority.

III. It is necessary for the farmer to have 7/12 Dakhla of land holding in his land, 8-Ach Uttara.

  1. It is necessary for the beneficiary to have Aadhaar card.
  2. It is necessary for the beneficiary to have a bank account and Aadhaar card attached to the Central Bank account.
  3. The first priority will remain for the underprivileged beneficiaries.

VII. The annual income limit of Rs 1,50,000/- applicable for the beneficiaries of Sadar Yojana is being cancelled. It is necessary for the beneficiary farmer to have at least 0.40 hectares of land and up to 6 hectares of land. However, due to the land of tribal beneficiaries being in inaccessible areas and fragmented, two or more beneficiaries having land holding less than 0.40 hectare came together and if their combined land was at least 0.40 hectare, they wrote an agreement and the benefit of the scheme would be admissible to them. Similarly, the limit of 6.0 hectare holding area will not be applicable to the poverty stricken beneficiaries.

VIII. The priority of beneficiary selection will be as follows.

1. poverty stricken beneficiaries

2. Primitive Jamaati Beneficiary

3. individual forest rights holder

  1. Once the full benefit of the concerned scheme is taken, the benefit of the same beneficiary or family or the scheme will not be payable for the next five years.

X If the agricultural development planner of a formal nature provides any benefit from the scheme being implemented for tribal purposes or from the funds made available under section 275 (A) of the SCA and the Central Government or the benefit to be given under the scheme, then it will not be permissible.

  1. A record of 7/12 return visits of the beneficiaries availing the Sadar Yojana will be taken.
