Solid waste management

A lot of waste is generated through various daily activities of human beings, it is called solid waste. If you recycle waste properly, it can become a valuable source of energy. Solid waste is a serious problem for human society in terms of economic development, environmental degradation and health problems. Household and public level waste bins, compost pits, three wheelbarrows/battery trucks for carrying garbage vehicles, village level waste disposal units for plastic waste management, menstrual cycle management units are empty solid waste management units. In villages with population up to 5000, only Rs 60 per person is accepted for solid waste management and in villages with more than 5000 population, only Rs 45 per person is accepted for solid waste management in every Mahsul village. According to the information given in the government decision dated 21 November 2021, there is a provision to spend 30 percent of the amount received by the Gram Panchayat from the grant received from the 15th Finance Commission. And 70 percent of the amount would be given through Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SMB) Tappa-2 scheme.
