Financial assistance at 50 percent subsidy to women cattle rearers for purchasing milking animals.–
Objective: To promote animal husbandry, increase milk production substantially and generate self-employment. Under this scheme, 50 percent Gram Panchayat subsidy has been fixed for 35 thousand cows and Tk 5 lakh for 35 thousand cows. 40000/- Bhainsak Lel. Cow/Buffalo insurance and transportation expenses have to be borne by the beneficiaries themselves.
