Rural Development Department, Government Decision dt. As per the norms of 21.11.2016, 8 talukas of Palghar district have been registered under R. Under the R (Aaba) Patil Sumber Village Award Scheme, the Gram Panchayats selected as Taluka Sundar Gaon are paid an award amount of Rs 10.00 lakh each. Also, among the selected Taluka Sundar villages, District Sundar villages are selected, Gram Panchayats which are not selected as District Sundar villages are paid a reward amount of Rs. 40.00 lakhs.
Every year from 2016-17 to 2019-20, 8 Gram Panchayats have been selected as taluka beautiful villages and have been paid the reward amount. Similarly, from 2016-17 to 2018-19, 2 Gram Panchayats have been selected as taluka beautiful villages and in the year 2019-20, 2 Gram Panchayats have been selected as beautiful villages in the district.
