Combined Ayushman Bharat – Prime Minister's Public Health Scheme and Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Public Health Scheme (PMJAY/MJHJAY)

• Scheme related – Maharashtra government started Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (Eastern Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana) in eight districts on experimental basis from 2 July 2012 and only later the scheme was expanded to all the districts of Maharashtra from 21 November 2013. Sadar Ambitious Scheme was initially started for the deficient families and later other beneficiary groups were included in it from time to time.
• Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana dt. It was implemented by the Government of India from September 23, 2018. Or the families covered under the scheme would be based on the deprivation and occupational criteria of the Socio-Economic Caste Census 2011 for rural and urban areas respectively. The same scheme was implemented jointly with Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana between 2018 and 2020. The share of expenditure incurred under Sadar Yojana is shared by Government of India and Government of Maharashtra in the ratio of 60:40.
• To administer the consolidated scheme being implemented as above. Reforms were made as a result of the government decision of 26 February 2019. According to the scheme Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, insurance coverage of Rs 1.50 lakh per family per year for 996 treatments would be provided. Also, under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, health protection would be implemented at an amount of Rs. 5.00 lakh per family per year for 1209 treatments. Sadar Yojana will be implemented from 1.04.2020 to 30.06.2024.
• Meanwhile, the Government of Maharashtra, through the Government's decision dated 28th July 2023, decided to implement Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana for all the families in the state and increased the coverage of the ongoing scheme. According to d. An integrated plan with expanded scope is being implemented from July 1, 2024. Or the entire population of Maharashtra is included in the scheme. The hospitals adopted under the same scheme provide free quality medical care from the time of admission to the hospital till discharge for type II and III diseases requiring hospitalization. This scheme is being implemented completely on our principles.
• Collected Scheme Features:
o Health protection for all citizens of Maharashtra
o Cashless second and third type treatment in approved hospitals
o Rs per year 5 lakh health protection can be used by one or all members of the family.
o All diseases requiring hospitalization under 34 special surgical treatments and medical service plans are covered from the first day.
o Beneficiaries under Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana can take treatment in any government/government approved hospitals in the state of Maharashtra.
o The benefit of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana can be availed in any state-approved hospital across the country.
o Dedicated call center for the scheme where beneficiaries can get information about the scheme and complain about the services under the scheme
o planning Completely paperless and implemented through computer system.
o Arogya Mitras are appointed in each adopted hospital to provide assistance and support to the beneficiaries.
o In case of emergency, patients can seek treatment by giving information through telephone or email.

 Non-resident families in Social, Economic and Caste Census, 2011 (SECC)
 Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Priority Households (PHH) families included in the National Food Security Act (NFSA).
