Kurzhe Dam

Kurje Dam is located on the Varoli River in Talasari taluka. The height of the dam is 22.96 meters (75.3 feet) and the length is 2,507.76 meters (8,227.6 feet). Its area is 846.12 km.3  (202.99 cubic miles) and has a total storage capacity of 39,050.00 km3  (9,368.59 cubic miles).,The open spaces and wetlands of Kurje Dam are crowded with various migratory birds during the winter season. These include little storks, small, medium and large herons, wagtails, sunbirds, trumpeters, native trumpeters, warblers, songbirds, kapsi, rakhi, purple herons, waterfowl, black-headed sharati, titmouse and moorhens. Apart from this, birds from various parts of India are also seen migrating here. Variegated wild ducks such as Adai-Lesser Whistling Duck, Dhanwar (Haldikunku Duck), Spot-billed Duck, Kanuk-Cotton Pygmy Goose etc. are seen during this season.

Zai Beach

Zai Beach is surrounded by tall coconut trees and is lined with white sandy beaches. The beach is also a popular fishing destination and is surrounded by several fishing villages. Visitors can watch fishermen bringing in their daily supplies and buy fresh seafood from the local market.

Ballalgad

Ballalgad is a hill fort on the border of Maharashtra and Gujarat. Ballalgad was a watchtower fort on a small hill in Kajli village. A Virgal is placed under a tree near the top of Ballalgad. After seeing the Virgal, if you walk towards the top of Ballalgad, you will reach the top of Ballalgad protected by four towers and a rampart. The remains of the 4 towers and the rampart can be seen even in the 21st century. The rampart is 15 feet high and 5 feet wide. The rampart is made of huge stones. You can see toilets built in the rampart. There are two large tanks inside the rampart.
