Objective: To improve the overall health of the citizens of tribal areas through various measures in coordination with various departments and to reduce the incidence of malnutrition and maternal and child mortality.
Program Internal health services-Features:
Regular health check-ups of pregnant mothers and children in tribal areas by flying teams.
Under the Maternity Grant Scheme, tribal pregnant women are provided with Rs. 400 in cash and Rs. 400 worth of medicines to ensure good nutrition.
Efforts are being made to ensure 100 percent registration of births and newborns in remote areas under the Dai Baithak scheme, as well as a survey of the health of at-risk mothers and newborns.
Preventive measures to prevent child mortality and epidemic diseases during the rainy season, including screening and vaccination of children.
